Compulsory document for Exports to Africa

Most African countries have implemented an Electronic Cargo Tracking Note (ECTN) system which applies to all goods shipped to, or through, their territory. This official document, also commonly known as a Waiver Certificate, is necessary for the export of any goods to Africa. An ECTN must be produced for every Bill of Lading whose cargo is being exported to the 24 countries listed below:
