BERGÉ yesterday received the largest vessel used by Global Steel Wire S.A., Motor Vessel “CASTILLO DE NAVIA”. The vessel, which came from CORPUS CHRISTI (United States) with a 19,450-tonne cargo of hot briquetted iron (HBI) for Global Steel Wire, a company belonging to the Celsa group, was managed by BERGÉ both in terms of consignment and stevedoring.

Executives of stevedoring companies from all over the world, belonging to the General Stevedoring Council (GSC), visited the ports of Barcelona and Tarragona this week to participate in a training course in high management focused on port operations logistics.

Within the signed collaboration agreement with the National Ports Agency of Morocco, the professionals will visit the facilities of BERGÉ in Madrid, Tarragona, Barcelona, Bilbao and Santander.
