Barcelona Terminal
This operating capacity at the port complements the 40,000 m2 of covered space in the Free Trade Zone which is used for value-added logistics, storage, forwarding or customs warehouses.
BERGÉ manages all types of goods from Barcelona, including general cargo, containers, ISO tanks, Ro-Ro cargo and project cargo. It also offers a range of value-added services, such as the moving, emptying or filling of containers, as well as being agent and representative of several main shipping and cruise lines.
Huelva Terminal
The terminal project has required the previous facility to be redesigned. To do this, an 11,700 m² warehouse was built with four silos and a storage capacity of 78,000 tonnes for all types of bulk agri-food. In addition to the new terminal, it has two separate 2,250 m2 warehouses, each with a capacity of 10,000 tonnes of goods.
One of the highlights of the terminal is the guarantee that it will operate safely and sustainability, as it is designed to be environmentally friendly, with less visual impact and a reduction in volatile dust and CO2 emissions. This is the result of the effort that BERGÉ has been making in its processes to apply best practices in its technical and human teams and thereby reduce its environmental footprint and save energy.
Bilbao Terminal
These installations represent BERGÉ’s response to the requirements of the new Union Customs Code (UCC) and their way of offering improved security for individuals and the cargo in their keeping, applying AEO (Authorised Economic Operator) standards.
This investment, together with the collaboration with the engineering company IDOM and the Port Authority of Bilbao, provides a closed and exclusive area for its customers, with more than 125,000 m² outdoor space and 36,000 m² closed storage area, divided into six spaces. Of particular interest is the 7,500 m² semi-automated area with overhead cranes at warehouse number 2 on jetty 2. It improves the maintenance of the reels inside and ensures a more efficient service for customers.
