BERGÉ is going to SEPOR 2022, the most important event for operators in the agri-food sector in the region of Levante, which is taking place on 26 October in Lorca (Murcia).

This meeting is part of the programme organised by the International Swine Symposium, which in turn forms part of the Livestock, Industrial and Agri-food Fair in Lorca, in which various topics related to the pork sector and its challenges will be discussed (efficiency, sustainability, trends in the raw materials market, export, logistical challenges, etc.)

BERGÉ is attending this event to present its extensive portfolio of services and solutions, which include port management (loading and unloading of ships) and storage and land and sea transportation. In all of them, it has the food safety certifications GMP+, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

An opportunity to confirm BERGÉ as the leading logistics operator for agri-food products in the Levante area, highlighting its presence in the Port of Cartagena, where it offers its clients more than 46,000 m2 of storage space, 2 cranes and 7 machines to manage their products properly.

All this is part of the company’s major investment in these facilities, which over the last three years have seen their operational capacity reinforced and expanded. In the agri-food sector, BERGÉ holds a strong position as a logistics operator for these products, managing on average around 7.5 million tonnes per year at its 26 ports in Spain and Bayonne (France).
