- The logistics firm has chosen CLIP Free Trade Zone as their new base for operations in the heart of the Colombian Pacific.
- With these facilities in CLIP, BERGÉ VIGÍA seeks to optimise its customs, logistics and operational procedures, enjoying unique cost-benefit advantages.
This week marked the official incorporation of BERGÉ VIGÍA into the CLIP Free Trade Zone offices, located in the district of Yotoco, Valle del Cauca, laying the first foundations of their facilities in this complex.
An official act presided by the directors of both organizations heralded the entry of the comprehensive logistics services company BERGÉ VIGÍA in the logistics and industrial hub located in the south-west region of the country. This highlighted a joint commitment to developing the national and international logistics sector, aiming to find synergies and achieve greater efficiency in customs procedures so as to offer a comprehensive service within the logistics chain of the automotive industry throughout the whole country.
BERGÉ VIGÍA will carry out its operations in an area of approximately 100,000 m2 in the Pacific Industrial Logistics Centre, which is strategically located two hours away from the Port of Buenaventura, offering vehicle logistics, transformation and readiness services.
The President of BERGÉ VIGÍA, Sebastián Echeverry, highlighted the advantages that CLIP offers in terms of cost-benefit analysis, customs procedures, tax advantages and facilities for distribution, given its strategic location in the corridor that connects Buenaventura with the main national consumer areas, which makes this hub key for the logistic development of the Pacific Alliance, and complements all the services offered by the Port.
Andrés Rebolledo, the manager of CLIP, commented that the arrival of BERGÉ VIGÍA in the Pacific Industrial Logistics Centre will facilitate the joint development of the national and international logistics sector, given the experience of the Colombian-Spanish company in the field of imports, assembly and distribution of machinery and vehicles.
