BERGÉ will attend the XXIX Lonja de Cereales del Mediterráneo 2021 (Mediterranean Grain Market) trade fair, which is to take place on 20 July in Barcelona in the Sala de Contrataciones of the Casa Lonja de Mar. It will be the first in-person event of the agri-food sector in Spain after last year’s cancellation due to the pandemic, and it will once again bring together the main service operators and agricultural produce companies.
BERGÉ participates in this initiative of the Llotja de Cerealsen (Grain Market) in the capacity of sponsor and logistics operator with its own space in which it will demonstrate its extensive portfolio of services and solutions, which include port handling (loading and unloading of ships), customs management, storage and land and sea transportation. In all of them, it has the food safety certifications GMP+, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
In the agri-food sector, BERGÉ holds a strong position as a logistics operator for such products, managing on average around 7.5 million tonnes per year at its 26 ports in Spain and Bayonne (France).
