The company is presenting its services at Seatrade Cruise Global, the most important international event in the sector from 5 to 8 March in Fort Lauderdale (Florida), which will welcome over 11,000 professionals. Bergé is one of the main operators of port logistics services for cruise ships, managing over 700 ports of call every year.
Through its port operations business unit and consignment services for cruises, Bergé is one of the main agents in the sector in Spain. For yet another year, it will attend Seatrade Cruise Global where, at the stand run by Puertos del Estado (State Ports), it will present its new range of services for cruise ships and other special boats such as yachts and mega-yachts.
The following services offered by Bergé are of note from among the facilities provided for shipowners and the main cruise lines: a) logistics and stevedoring of provisions, b) agency and auxiliary services (customs management and the service provided to passengers and crew in terms of mobility, accommodation or baggage handling) and c) provisioning (through 4SHIP as a company specifically dealing with and specialising in the provision of food supplies and technical equipment for this sector). Bergé is currently the only company in Spain that covers these three areas of service.
