Madrid, April 2017.- Bergé (www.bisl.com) will attend Breakbulk Europe 2017 on 24, 25 and 26 April at the Antwerp Expo, the leading Project Cargo fair in Europe, where it will present its services to professionals in the sector. Through its Port Operations and Shipping Business Units, Bergé is one of the leading Spanish companies in Project Cargo operations, carrying out these kinds of operations at 20 ports in Spain.
The sectors and case studies that Bergé can cater for are abundant, however it specialises in projects concerning train cargo, wind products (wind turbines, blades, cranes), boiler works and the movement of large and/or oversized parts for all types of sectors.
Breakbulk Europe is the event which, each year, attracts over 400 exhibitors and 7,600 experts, which include logistics operators, forwarders, shipowners, manufacturers and port authorities.
Bergé’s commitment to this business area is strengthened even further by new investments to renew the machinery and facilities used in these operations. For example, this year we can highlight the purchase of a 144 t Liebherr 550 crane at the port of Bilbao or the expansion of the facilities at the Port Nou Terminal in Barcelona, where the majority of project cargo operations are carried out as it is the only multi-purpose terminal at the port of Barcelona.
