The company is taking to the international fair Seatrade Cruise Global to present its offering as one of the main cruise agents in Spain with an extensive international network.

Through its port operations division and consignment services for cruises, Bergé (www.bisl.es) managed over 700 cruise ships with over 1 million passengers in 2016. These figures, coupled with its extensive 25+ years of experience in this sector, make Bergé one of the leading companies in this field.

Provisioning services and customs management for vessels are of note among the facilities provided for shipowners and the main cruise lines, along with the service provided to passengers and crew in terms of mobility, accommodation or baggage handling.

The increase in cruise ship tourism led to Spain consolidating itself as one of the main destinations in 2016, with 8.5 million passengers (30% of the international total) and around 4,000 cruise ships docked at Spanish ports, according to figures from Puertos del Estado. The 1.5+ % increase seen in the Spanish cruise sector in 2016 is a clear example of the growing evolution of the maritime sector in our country.

Aware of the importance of this sector, Bergé is again taking part in Seatrade Cruise Global (www.seatradecruiseglobal.com), the international fair held in Miami. Bergé is at the stand set up by Puertos del Estado where the main companies in the sector in Spain are grouped together.

The stand is a meeting point not to be missed by professionals in the cruise industry, representatives of port authorities, cruise companies or commercial and tourism operators.
