  • Strengthening its position as an essential logistics operator in the value chain to ensure the fulfilment of company imports and exports.

BERGÉ, a renowned logistics operator, facilitates the bureaucratic burden of the industrial sector in its exports to Africa, enhancing business aimed at new, less-crowded markets with great growth potential.

Specifically, BERGÉ assists companies in the shipping all kinds of goods by facilitating the processing of the required authorisations, such as the Electronic Cargo Tracking Note (ECTN), also known as the Waiver Certificate.

The Certificate is a compulsory document that most African countries require from all ships that are passing through or ending their journey in their country. These include the ports of Angola, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Chad, Republic of the Congo, Ivory Coast, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, Liberia, Libya, Madagascar, Mali, Niger, Central African Republic, Senegal, Sierra Leone, South Sudan and Togo.

As such, BERGÉ is an essential logistics operator in the value chain for ensuring the fulfilment of the imports and exports of Spanish and international companies, helping them to develop their business in new markets.

In 2019 alone, BERGÉ issued and validated over 2,000 compulsory electronic authorisations for exports to Africa, which also need to be included in every bill of lading, in other words, the document confirming the reception or loading of the cargo to transport and its consignment conditions.
