- The BERGÉ Maintenance and RDT teams will work together in ports to improve service systems and apply the most advanced maintenance methods
BERGÉ and the Spanish multinational engineering company RDT have signed a collaboration agreement to implement the best industrial maintenance practices in all of their port activity.
In this way, BERGÉ will strengthen its activity in the area of maintenance – a crucial sector in the field of logistics. The company first created a specialised division in this area in 2021 and have now reached a new milestone with this alliance with RDT.
This agreement means the logistics operator can acquire the best practices in the maintenance sector, feeding off their experience in other areas such as the automotive or aeronautics industries and implementing these practices in ports, as well as offering the most highly qualified professionals and advanced systems. Overall, this leads to a much higher quality service.
In this agreement, the BERGÉ Maintenance and RDT teams will work together in ports to receive newly acquired cranes and update the systems already in use, as well as implement the most advanced methods in industrial maintenance.
RDT is a company which specialises in advanced engineering projects and has a presence in Spain, France, the UK, Denmark, Portugal, Morocco and Mexico. Its international profile and innovative nature has led to projects in more than 16 countries and increased their workforce to more than 1,700 people.
