May 2017.- Bahri (www.bahri.sa), the national shipping company of Saudi Arabia, with regular port of call in Bilbao, has recently completed its first year of operations since being represented by CILS in Spain. Bahri offers the regular route between Northern Europe and the Persian Gulf, with direct port of call in Jeddah, Dammam and Jebel Ali and other ports on the route.

This service, which operates every 28/30 days, has helped the countries in the Arabian Gulf to strengthen ties with the international shipping sector, by means of multifunctional vessels BAHRI JEDDAH and its twin BAHRI TABUK, both 50,000 gt, which can accommodate any type of cargo: project, Ro-Ro, bulk and containers. Thanks to the versatility of the commercial strategy and the operational flexibility of the shipping company, CILS has progressively increased traffic with this line, guaranteeing at the same time the shipping of all cargo from central and northern Spain.

Bahri (www.bahri.sa), previously NSCSA, the national shipping company of Saudi Arabia, established in 1978, has become one of the main transport and logistics conglomerates in the world. It has an extensive fleet of 84 vessels in operation, which include large oil and chemical product tankers, tankers and multi-purpose vessels, which provide transport services for general cargo (containers, project cargo, Ro-Ro, etc.) and dry bulk. In addition, it has a logistics centre at the port of Jeddah for storage and maintenance and repair services for containers. Bahri is listed on the Saudi stock exchange (Tadawul).

CILS (Cantabrian Integrated Logistics Services, S.A. www.cils.es), as part of Bergé (www.bisl.es), is the agent for regular-line shipping companies for conventional, Ro-Ro or project cargo, and also for transporting chemical products in ISO tanks. With extensive experience, it provides service at all Spanish ports and has been the general agent of Bahri (National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia) in Spain since April 2016.
