BERGÉ appoints Rodrigo Camacho as the new Country Manager in Colombia

  • This appointment strengthens the company’s new phase in the country, defined by unified branding and a focus on growth.

BERGÉ has appointed Rodrigo Camacho as the new Country Manager for its business in Colombia, where he will be in charge of leading the company’s activities in that country.

In this position, he will report directly to the Chief Business Officer, María José Gámez, focusing mainly on driving business development and consolidation in Colombia within the framework of a new era of growth and transformation in this market.

With a bachelor’s degree in economics from Universidad de La Salle (Colombia), he has extensive experience in logistics, having led expansion processes, launched operations in several countries, managed teams and developed complex projects in the energy, industrial and automotive sectors, among others.

His appointment comes at a crucial time for BERGÉ in Colombia. The company is progressing in its brand unification process following the acquisition of its local partner’s stake in the company in early 2026, becoming the sole shareholder. As a result, BERGÉ has unified all its activities in the country under a single brand.

The company also recently moved its headquarters in Bogota to new offices located in the Optimus building, near the El Dorado international airport, strengthening its position and operational capacity in the country.

BERGÉ has been operating in Colombia since 2014, has 450 employees, and is a role model in the integration of vehicle transport with storage and value-added services for cars and lorries. This specialist activity involves a fleet of over 150 car transporters—120 of which are owned by the company—and a network of vehicle lots spanning over 300,000 m2, with workshops in Yotoco, Santa Marta and Bogota.
