BERGÉ managed 750 cruise ships in Spanish ports in 2022, right at the moment when this tourist sector has exceeded even pre-Covid levels of stopovers, rising 7% on 2019 up to 4,525, according to State Port statistics.
The company is therefore pleased to be present at the Seatrade Cruise Global conference, the sector’s biggest event, which takes place from 27 to 30 March in Fort Lauderdale (Florida, USA) with around 10,000 expected attendees. There, BERGÉ will show off its range of services and solutions for the consignment of cruise ships to coincide with the recent boom in the industry, as well as the routes between North America and Europe.
BERGÉ will operate in the main Spanish ports, particularly Barcelona, the port which handles the most traffic in Europe. From here, the company provides its supplies logistics service to 400 vessels per year. BERGÉ also serves another 350 cruises in important locations such as Malaga and Valencia, while using Alicante and Tarragona as base ports.
The company is backed by more than 25 years’ experience in the cruise ship sector, where it offers all the supplies logistics and stevedoring, auxiliary agencies and services, customs management and supplies – in short, whatever a cruise ship may require on a stopover. Furthermore, BERGÉ offers a similar service to special vessels such as yachts and mega-yachts to ensure a pleasing stay at our ports.
